Hello Erin, great to hear from you! A lot of people will say get the opposite gender, but we’ve also had a lot of people get the same! There is not a huge difference usually – it more depends on the specific dog’s personality! Have you noticed if your dog gets along better with males or females or is he indifferent?? A puppy adjust to their surroundings and so I would prolly decide more on your dog’s personality!
